About the band
Deaf To The Truth is a metal/rock band from Finland. The band was formed in 2022.
Deaf To The Truth's music is and will be a mix of genres, but leans towards heavy music. The band's songs are often dark, melancholic and exploring themes of alienation, isolation, social injustice, fantasy and love so there is something for everyone.
The vocalist, Samuli, is a self-taught musician who started singing, composing and writing songs at a young age. He is passionate about using music to express his imagination, thoughts and feelings about the world and fantasy.
Jarkko is a talented and versatile guitarist and his playing style is influenced by a variety of genres, including metal, rock, country and rock and roll.
Our proficient drummer, Harri, joined the band a little later. Harri is an experienced drummer that has played in several bands over the years.
About our shows
A typical Deaf To The Truth -show lasts 2x 45min and includes an intermission, allowing the audience to spend longer at the venue. Our show is unique, energetic, entertaining and memorable.
The band owns stage lights and a smoke machine. If necessary, we will bring a black molton to the gig for the backdrop of the venue. Sometimes we project videos onto a backdrop to further enhance the visual impact of the presentation.
We market our gigs extensively and in a diverse manner to ensure the largest possible audience. We use our extensive social media networks, posters, online advertisements, and emails for marketing.
Our band is a reliable partner who is easy to work with. Our gigs usually sell for 600-1500 euros depending on travel costs and other circumstances. For now, we sell our gigs ourselves without an agency, which reduces costs.
For us, the best gig day is Saturday.
